Staff Accountant (Temp-to-Hire)

Location: Sacramento, CA
Pay Range: $30-$38/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Full-time, Onsite/Hybrid depending on client

Overview:
Ledgent Finance & Accounting is partnering with a reputable Sacramento-area organization seeking a Staff Accountant on a temp-to-hire basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong general accounting experience who is looking for long-term stability and growth.

Responsibilities:

Support month-end close processes
Prepare and post journal entries
Perform account reconciliations
Assist with accruals and variance analysis
Oversee AP/AR activities as needed
Maintain and update the general ledger
Assist with financial reporting packages
Work within ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, etc.)

Qualifications:

3+ years of Staff Accountant or General Accounting experience
Strong understanding of GAAP
Experience with mid-tier or enterprise ERP systems
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
